You can lock and unlock your folder with this simple trick ! Try this !
Procedures :
1. Make a folder on the desktop and name it as "folder"
2. Now, open notepad and write ren folder folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.
3. In the 'save as' name it as lock.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)
4. Now, again open notepad again and write ren folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} folder and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.
5. In the 'save as' name it as key.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)
6. Now, double click lock.bat to lock the folder and now if you open your folder, control panel will open up !
7. Now, double click key.bat to open the folder and now if you open your folder, you can access your data inside the folder again !
8. Lock your folder and hide the key.bat somewhere else on your hard disk !
9. Whenever you want to open your folder just paste the key.bat on desktop and open your folder using it !

Recover the lost administrators password

If u forget or lost your administrative password, try this trick to recover password
1.First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeated as the computer starts up.
2.Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run. In the open box type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes - I have just used quotes to differentiate what you have to type.
3.You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account and will be able to reset the lost password.
4.Just click the administrators user account, and then click Reset Password.
5.You will need to add a new password in the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK.
All done, you have recovered the lost adminitrators password!

create a new DWORD entry and name it as Administrator and change its value to 1.
exit and reboot for the changes to take effect.
To change it back change its value to 0 or simply delete the key.

6. REMOVE THUMB.DB FILE
Thumb.db is is a cache of the current picture in that directory.to remove it go for following
steps:
1 > open "WINDOWS EXPLORER".
2>go to "TOOLS".
3>open "FOLDER OPTIONS".
4>go to "VIEW".
5>see 1st section "FILES & FOLDERS".
6>click on the "DO NOT CACHE THUMBNAILS".
now the thumbnail file will be removed from ur computer once u do this the file will be never created.

7. How to stop new programs installed balloon from coming up tip
Right click on START button and select properties. Click on Customize and go to Advanced tab and deselect check box saying "Highlight newly installed programs". This would help you stop this annoying feature from popping up every now and then.
Change the name of the Recycle Bin desktop icon
follow these stepsgoto RUN type regeditand then go to:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID/{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
and change the name "Recycle Bin" to whatever you want (don't type any quotes).

8. Trick to Show ur name after time in taskbar

If you wanna make a autorun file for that CD you are ready to burn just read this...
1) You open notepad

2) now you writ: [autorun]OPEN=INSTALL\Setup_filename.EXEICON=INSTALL\Setup_filename.EXE
Now save it but not as a .txt file but as a .inf file.
But remember! The "Setup_filename.EXE" MUST be replaced with the name of the setup file. And you also need to rember that it is not all of the setup files there are called '.exe but some are called '.msi

3) Now burn your CD with the autorun .inf file included.

4) Now set the CD in you CD drive and wait for the autorun to begin or if nothing happens just double-click on the CD drive in "This Computer".

Clear Unwanted Items From Add And Remove

Before doing this trick be sure, your registry should be saved...
dont delete anything in registry,if you dont have clear idea about it...
Run the Registry Editor (REGEDIT).

FACTS ABOUT BOOKS

The smallest book in the world is called Chemin de la Cruix. It has 119 pages. It is 2 inches high and 1 1/3 inches wide. The largest book in the world is an atlas which is in the British Museum. It is 5 feet 10 inches high and 3 feet by 6 inches wide.

"Book" comes from the word liber. Liber is a Latin name that the Romans used for the thin layer of stuff that is found between the wood and bark of a tree. The Romans used to peel the layer away from the tree and use it as paper to write on.

Did you know that books can breathe? People visiting the British Museum complained of getting headaches. This was because books seem to absorb or "breathe" in air and "breathe" out smells of their own. There was so many old books in the Museum that there was no fresh air left which meant people got headaches from breathing in bad air !!

There are 2 kinds of bookworms.. children and grownups that like to read are often called "bookworms". It's a good thing to be called a bookworm...as long as you read good books !

In the olden days when books were made by hand, a scribe would have to copy out the writings onto parchment. He was not allowed to make any mistakes! All day long he would just sit and copy down words using pen and ink.

The other kind of "bookworm" is a insect that likes to eat the pages of books. They are usually moth or beetle larvae (which are tiny pale worms).

Amazing Notepad Trick To Hide the files

I Read this amazing trick from one website, i want to share this trick to all. Enjoy by trying this trick…
Today I will be sharing a pretty unknown trick to create hidden text files using nothing but Notepad, you can use this simple trick to hide plain text data without using any third-party utility or simply use it to impress your friends showing your geekness, the text files created using the method below won’t show anywhere in DOS or Windows irrespective of the hidden and system display file-settings, the files created using this can only be accessed if you know the correct file-name used while creating the file.

Simple follow the steps below to create hidden text file:

1) Launch Windows command prompt from Start Menu -> Run -> Type cmd and press Enter.
2) Using DOS commands navigate to the desired folder.
3) Now type in notepad VisibleFile.txt:HiddenFile.txt and hit Enter, you can change VisibleFile.txt and HiddenFile.txt to names of your choice (notice the : between both file-names), You will be prompted to Create a New file click Yes as shown below.

4. Now enter data you want to hide, save the file and close notepad.
5. Visit the file-save location, you will see your VisibleFile.txt file (non-hidden) there, you can open the file and enter any text of your choice as any other normal text file.

6. The hidden file HiddenFile.txt will not be visible under Windows Explorer or DOS.

7. To open and read/write your hidden file, type in the command notepad VisibleFile.txt:HiddenFile.txt (change filenames with your own used during Step 3 above) at DOS command prompt and hit Enter.

Do note that if the visible file (VisibleFile.txt) is deleted your hidden file (HiddenFile.txt) will also get deleted.

Hi readers, you can hide the folders using the following methods...
check it and enjoy!!
1. Keep Folders Hidden
first create a new folder somewhere on your hard drivewhen you name it hold down "Alt" and press "0160" this will create and invisible space so it will apper as if it has no name.then right click in and select "Properties" select the tab "coustimize" and select "change icon" scroll along and you should a few blanc spaces click on any one and click ok when you hav saved the settings the folder will be invisible to hide all your personal files.

2. HOW TO HIDE FILE IN A IMAGE
1. Gather the file you wish to bind, and the image file, and place them in a folder. For the sake of this demonstration, I will be using C:\New Folder-The image will hereby be referred to in all examples as fluffy.jpg-The file will hereby be referred to in all examples as New Text Document.txt
2. Add the file/files you will be injecting into the image into a WinRar .rar or .zip. From here on this will be referred to as (secret.rar)
3. Open command prompt by going to Start > Run > cmd
4. In Command Prompt, navigate to the folder where your two files are by typingcd location [ex: cd C:\New Folder]
5. Type [copy /b fluffy.jpg + secret.rar fluffy.jpg] (remove the brackets)
Congrats, as far as anyone viewing is concerned, this file looks like a JPEG, acts like a JPEG, and is a JPEG, yet it now contains your file.
In order to view/extract your file, there are two options that you can take
a) Change the file extension from fluffy.jpg to fluffy.rar, then open and your file is there

b) Leave the file extension as is, right click, open with WinRar and your file is there.

3. LOCK UR FOLDER (VERY EASY NO SOFTWARE NEEDED)
How to Lock a Folder Using Notepad
1) Consider you want to lock a folder named abcd in your e:\, whose path is e:\abcd
2) Now open the Notepad and type the following
ren abcd abcd.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30 309D}
3) Where abcd is your folder name. Save the text file as loc.bat in the same drive.
4) Open another new notepad text file and type the following
ren abcd.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30 309D} caclub
5) Save the text file as unloc.bat in the same drive.

1) To lock the caclub folder, simply click the loc.bat and it will transform into control panel icon which is inaccessible.
2) To unlock the folder click the unloc.bat file. Thus the folder will be unlocked and the contents are accessible.

4. CREATE A HIDDEN USER ACCOUNT

5. LOCK AND UNLOCK FOLDER
You can lock and unlock your folder with this simple trick !
Procedure :
1. Make a folder on the desktop and name it as "folder"
2. Now, open notepad and write ren folder folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.
3. In the 'save as' name it as lock.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)
4. Now, again open notepad again and write ren folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} folder and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.
5. In the 'save as' name it as key.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)
6. Now, double click lock.bat to lock the folder and now if you open your folder, control panel will open up !
7. Now, double click key.bat to open the folder and now if you open your folder, you can access your data inside the folder again !
8. Lock your folder and hide the key.bat somewhere else on your hard disk !
9. Whenever you want to open your folder just paste the key.bat on desktop and open your folder using it !
